Mindrest is a mental health app I’m developing to bridge a gap I noticed in the Danish healthcare system — the time between scheduling a psychologist appointment and the first meeting. Therapy can be expensive and often inaccessible, so Mindrest offers a softer space in between: a place to self-reflect, regulate, and reconnect. The goal was to create an app that feels like a warm hug — balancing academic, evidence-based content with empathy, warmth, and user-friendliness. Through research, user mapping, and iterative prototyping in Figma, I built a functional concept centered on meaningful micro-interactions. Every element, from the brand identity to the illustration style, was designed to create calm and emotional safety.
